Ozark Greenways

Quarterly Volunteer Trail Work Day - Summer

August 19, 2017

9:00am - Noon

Come join us for a beautiful morning of volunteering, and give back to the trails you love! Thank you for helping make Springfield more bicycle and pedestrian friendly, and for supporting Ozark Greenways.

Even though the greenways in Greene County are managed by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board, there are still many needs to help with, especially on the Polk County portion of the Frisco HIghline Trail. We'll be listing work day specifics here as soon as they are confirmed.

Projects vary based on needs, but we'll likely be either planting native trees, sprucing up a trailhead, trimming limbs or other tasks. If possible, bring limb loppers, pruning tools, chainsaws, work gloves, work shoes and drinking water. Remember to dress for the weather.

NEW! We have a new Facebook page made for people who'd like to volunteer on the trails for Ozark Greenways! Check often for volunteer needs and opportunities: www.facebook.com/OGtrails

RSVP to Terry Whaley at terry@ozarkgreenways.org / (417) 864-2014

We rely on the enthusiasm and financial support of the community.
