The Greenways Save and Impove Lives
Citizen Memorial Hospital doctor, Dr. Curtis Schreiber reached a big milestone on October 9, 2017—he biked enough miles to circle the world—twice! Over the past 12 years, his miles have added up by biking 10-12 miles a day. He says consistency is the key, and access to our local greenway trails, especially the Frisco Highline Trail that connects Bolivar and Springfield.
Twelve years ago he was telling his patients they needed to excercise every day, but realizing he wasn't doing it himself. Thousands of miles later, Schrieber says he’s now proof of the physical and mental benefits he preaches about every day.
