Join us in giving a warm Ozark Greenways welcome to Jackie McCarthy!
We are thrilled to introduce Jackie as our new Community Engagement & Development Coordinator.
Jackie has lived in the Ozarks for over 30 years and has enjoyed the region’s natural bounty through camping, cycling, hiking, and kayaking. She is eager to be a part of the team that is helping expand the trails that connect our Ozark communities. She moved to the Ozarks after earning a degree in Biology from Sacramento State University. Once in the Ozarks she pursued a Master’s Degree in Education from Drury University, followed with a second Master’s Degree in Natural and Applied Sciences from Missouri State University. Throughout her career in education she has prioritized helping others build meaningful relationships with nature.
Jackie brings a wealth of experience in communication, leadership, and relationship-building to this role, having spent the last 20+ years inspiring and connecting with others as an educator. As someone who has personally explored our local trail network for the past 15 years her background will be instrumental in expanding our community outreach and donor engagement as we continue our mission to build a trail system that connects and enhances our community.
