Greenways Are Created Through Collaboration
Ozark Greenways is a public-private partnership, and this collaboration is crucial to expanding Springfield's trail and route network. We work with private businesses, public agencies, organizations, schools, clubs and individuals to create a bicycle-pedestrian community. We wouldn't have the bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure we have today without a variety of supporters who have stepped forward to join the effort.

An important way to support Ozark Greenways is by underwriting Ozark Greenways events, or by creating your own fundraiser and donating the proceeds. Underwriters are sought for Bike to Work Week, Yoga on the Trail, and our Fall Fundraising Dinner. If you, your business, family or group would like to sponsor one of our events (and reach a diverse audience), contact email@example.com, or (417) 864-2015.
Another way for a group or business to support the trails and route network is to hold their own event and donate the proceeds to Ozark Greenways! Let us know if you have any questions about how to do this.
Corporate & Sustaining Members
Springfield wouldn't have the number of trails and bike routes it has without the annual financial support of the business community and private donors, large and small. If your company has a charitable program or workplace giving, we enoucarage you to consider contributions to Ozark Greenways. It's a true gift to benefit and shape our community for generations to come.
Local Bicycle-Friendly Businesses
This local recognition program began in 2015, as a way to draw attention and business to those who are able to encourage and attract cyclists as customers. This helps strengthen the overall goal to make our community even more bike-friendly, while stimulating an economic resource.
The following area businesses were either nominated or applied to become officially designated as a Bicycle-Friendly Business by the advocacy committee of Ozark Greenways, called STAR Team. To nominate your own business, or another business, fill out this application and email questions to firstname.lastname@example.org
