Ozark Greenways

Greenway Trails

Springfield has a growing network of 70 miles of greenway trails, and 72 miles of on-street bike routes.

We invite you to explore all of Springfield's greenway trails, and Public Works' on-street bike route network! The trails and routes have a long list of benefits - from fun and fitness, to transportation and environmental preservation. These corridors provide safe routes for bicycling and walking to work or school, and to explore our community. They also control storm water and filter pollution from our community's air and drinking water supply. The Springfield area has 12 outdoor bike aide stations now also.
