Bike, Walk & Wheel Week in May
Leave your car behind at least one time to get around town during Bike, Walk & Wheel Week - by biking, taking the bus, carpooling, walking, telecommuting, or any combination of active transportation! Any active trip that week counts.
Safety & Education
Traffic statistics show that bicyclists who follow the rules of the road, ride safely with other traffic. Bicyclists, pedestrians and motorists who follow the rules make life better for all of us. And it's working - the League of American Bicyclists has awarded Springfield the bronze level Bicycle-Friendly Community status!
