Citizens working to develop Springfield's urban trail and on-street bike route network
Ozark Greenways is a 501c3 non-profit group of private citizens in greater Springfield, Missouri, working to preserve the Ozarks' natural heritage for public use and enjoyment by developing a greenway trail network, and promoting Springfield Public Works' growing on-street bike route network.
Our mission is, "To preserve and enhance the Ozarks' natural heritage." Since 1991, we've been guided by a plan for over 120 miles of greenway trails throughout the Springfield community!
We wouldn't be successful without both public and private partners who help us advocate, plan, fund, coordinate, manage and promote the trails and routes!

Ozark Greenways prides itself on doing a lot with a little. We have a staff of two full-time employees, and an 18-member volunteer board of directors who lead the organization.
