Galloway Creek Greenway Trail: Temporary Trail Closures

Temporary Trail Segment Closures January 17 - 20, 2023, weather dependent.
Springfield-Greene County Park Board’s construction staff will be performing repairs at six locations along Galloway Creek Greenway Trail. The repair process will include cutting and removing the damaged portions of asphalt trail and forming and pouring concrete to repair that area. Large rock will be placed along some sections to help reduce stream bank erosion.
2 areas are just north of Sequiota Park to Lacuna Street and 4 areas are south of the park.
During construction, the trail segments will be closed. Appropriate signage and visual indicators(cones, caution tape) will be placed around the impacted areas.
