Category Events, News, Projects | Posted on April 18, 2017

Pleaase share your input on the Springfield Area Long-Range Trail Plan

The Ozarks Transportation Organization is the public entity that plans our region’s transportation needs. They recently hired greenway planning experts, Alta Planning and Design, to refine routing options and cost estimates for nearly 75 miles of additional trails for the Springfield area. Ozark Greenways is partnering with surrounding communities to find ways to connect Springfield, Ozark, Nixa, Battlefield, Republic, Strafford and Willard!

The planning project is called the “Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Trail Investment Study” and is seeking community input to help prepare our region for the pursuit of large funding opportunities. Share your input at these community workshops and also at www.ototrailstudy.com.
