A great way to beat cabin fever is to join us as we partner with volunteers from 37 North Expeditions (a local outdoor adventure guide service) for a fun morning of tree planting. We hope to plant about 250 trees in order to enhance the trailhead and create more shade.

We’ll meet on a Sunday, at 9am, at the trailhead for the Sac River Mountain Bike Trails, which is located west off of Highway 13, three miles north of I-44, on the road to the Northwest Wastewater Treatment Plant. There's no address, so see this map to get you there.

Bring your favorite work gloves and your second favorite water bottle. We’ll have a great time while making a difference in adding to Springfield’s important urban tree canopy. RSVP to john@ozarkgreenways.org or (417) 864-2015.

We rely on the enthusiasm and financial support of the community.
